1. What is the Ink Made Of? (Composition)
This uv ink consists of two primary components:

High-Quality Pigments: These provide the color. The pigments undergo fine milling, meaning the particles are ground extremely finely. This ensures printed colors are even, smooth, and free of a grainy texture.

2. Where Can You Use It? (Application Surfaces)
This ink offers strong adhesion and can be used directly on the following materials without pre-treatment (like flame or corona treatment):

Feel & Leveling: Offers a smooth, pleasant feel after printing. Excellent leveling means the ink flows evenly to fill screen mesh marks, resulting in a smooth, flawless surface.
Durability: The dried film is hard and resistant to impact, bending, and scratches from fingernails or common objects.
Chemical Resistance: Performs well against alcohol and common chemicals, meaning it resists fading or damage during cleaning—a key durability indicator.

4. Printing Guidelines (Parameters)
Screen Mesh: Use 100 to 420 mesh counts. Higher counts give thinner layers and finer detail. For example, with a 120T polyester monofilament screen, 1 kg of ink covers approximately 35-40 square meters.
Drying Time:
Surface Dry: Air-dry for 5-10 minutes until touch-dry (no tackiness). Prints can be stacked without smudging.
Full Cure: Complete internal drying takes under 24 hours. For optimal performance (adhesion, scratch resistance), allow 48 hours.
Important: While “surface dry” allows for handling after ~30 minutes, the ink is not fully cured. Adhesion or rub tests must wait at least 12 hours (24-48 hours is best), as it cures through a slow chemical reaction.

5. How to Use It (Instructions)
Before Use: Stir the ink thoroughly in the container to recombine any settled resin and pigment. Reseal tightly immediately after use.
Mixing:
If using a hardener (for enhanced properties), add and mix it first. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Then, add 5% to 15% specialized thinner, stirring until the desired printing viscosity is reached.
Note: Ink mixed with hardener must be used within 4-6 hours, as it will gradually thicken and become unusable.
Printing & Cleaning: Use screen wash to clear any blockages. Never mix this ink with other brands or types.
Performance Enhancement (Optional):
Hardener: Adding ~10% hardener significantly boosts adhesion, abrasion, and chemical resistance.
Heat Curing: Baking printed items at 80°C for 30 minutes accelerates drying and optimizes all properties compared to air drying.

6. How to Test Results
After full cure (best at 48 hours), conduct these key tests:
Adhesion Test (Cross-Cut): Make a lattice pattern (100 squares) on the ink film with a blade. Apply 3M tape firmly and pull it off rapidly at a 45° angle. The ink passes if no squares are removed.
Rub Resistance Test (Alcohol Test): Rub the surface 200 times with a cloth soaked in 99% alcohol. The ink passes if it shows no fading, peeling, or exposure of the base material.
7. Important Precautions
Test First: Surface treatments can vary between material suppliers. Always conduct a small test print to confirm adhesion and color before full production.
Troubleshooting: If the ink strings or spreads during pad printing, add a small amount of “retarder” to slow drying and improve transfer.
Environment: High temperatures can severely affect ink quality, causing premature drying or performance issues. Operate in a cool, ventilated area.
Storage Safety: This ink contains flammable chemicals. Store in a cool, dry place away from fire, heat sources, and direct sunlight.
