Semi Automatic Cup Screen Printing Machine: Real Demo on Ovoid Thermal Flask with LEUZE Color Sensor Registration
Struggling with inconsistent prints on curved or tapered containers — especially when registering multiple colors? The JST-R400-CSM semi-automatic cup screen printing machine solves this with mechanical precision and an optical LEUZE contrast sensor that locks onto your existing logo position, delivering sharp, registered prints up to 1500 pieces per hour. And you can see it print your exact product live, guided by our English-speaking engineer — no translators, no guesswork.

Step-by-Step Demo: Printing an Ovoid Thermal Flask
This is the actual process our English-speaking engineers will walk you through on your private video call.
Step 1: Machine Setup & Parameter Adjustment
Before printing begins, we adjust the machine for the specific ovoid thermal flask. This includes setting the air pressure (0.4-0.6MPa), adjusting the worktable height, printing head height, and stroke length to match the flask’s curvature.
The JST-R400-CSM uses HIWIN precision linear guides for smooth vertical adjustment, driven by a servo motor and reducer. The entire screen frame and print head move as one unit, ensuring perfect parallel alignment with your product.

Step 2: Custom Screen & Stencil Installation
We install a 600×400mm screen frame with your custom logo design. The screen is tensioned uniformly on a CNC-machined frame — because inconsistent tension directly affects registration accuracy.
For this ovoid thermal flask, we’re printing a multi-color logo. Each color requires a separate screen, and we use the LEUZE sensor to align each layer with micron-level precision.
Installing custom screen stencil on JST-R400-CSM for ovoid thermal flask
The squeegee must match the flask’s curvature for uniform ink transfer. We install the flood bar and squeegee, then manually adjust the squeegee angle to follow the ovoid contour. This ensures the entire printed area receives even pressure — no thin spots, no smudging.
The pneumatic squeegee drive provides consistent downforce on every cycle, eliminating the variability of manual pressure.
Squeegee adjustment for curved surface on cylindrical screen printer
This is where the JST-R400-CSM truly shines for non-standard shapes. The ovoid thermal flask is mounted onto a custom CNC-machined fixture that holds it firmly and ensures the printing surface is perfectly parallel to the screen.
This fixture was machined in-house on our own CNC equipment — one of 10 high-precision centers with ±0.01mm accuracy. For your products, we can design and machine custom fixtures based on your samples.
For standard cylindrical products with rigid walls, the machine comes with universal fixtures that work out of the box — no custom fixture required.
The operator loads the flask manually, then steps on the foot pedal to start the automatic print cycle.

Step 5: Ink Application & Registration
We pour UV screen printing ink into the screen frame and begin the printing cycle. The machine automatically moves the screen frame left and right via servo motor while the squeegee presses down. Simultaneously, the rotary servo motor rotates the flask in sync with the screen movement — this relative motion transfers the ink through the stencil onto the product surface.
For multi-color printing: After the first color, we manually change the screen for the second color. The LEUZE optical contrast sensor detects the already-printed logo position and automatically registers the next layer — no manual alignment guesswork. This sensor is what makes 2-10 color overprinting practical and precise.

After printing, the operator removes the flask for curing. The result: a sharp, opaque logo with 0.1mm registration accuracy, properly positioned on the curved surface. No distortion, no edge blur.
Curing options:
UV ink → Requires a UV curing lamp (sold separately) for instant drying
Solvent ink → Air dries in 2 hours (surface) / 24 hours (fully cured)
Solvent ink + IR oven → Optional IR curing oven reduces drying to 1-5 seconds
Every JST-R400-CSM undergoes 48-hour continuous production testing before shipping to ensure batch-to-batch consistency.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Are you a manufacturer or a trading company? A: We are a direct manufacturer. Shenzhen Juste Machine Co., Ltd. has been designing and building industrial printing equipment since 2013. We operate a 9,000+ sqm factory with 10 in-house CNC machining centers. You can verify this on a live video tour with our sales team — in fluent English.
Q: Can the JST-R400-CSM print on my specific product — tapered cups, ovoid bottles, or conical containers? A: Yes. The machine handles cylindrical, conical, circular, and ovoid products. The worktable angle is adjustable for tapered shapes. For non-standard contours like ovoid flasks, we design and machine custom fixtures in-house based on your sample. For standard rigid cylinders, universal fixtures are included free of charge.
Q: Do your engineers speak English? Can I really communicate without a translator? A: Absolutely. Both our mechanical design engineers (15+ years experience) and PLC software engineers (20+ years) speak fluent English. You can ask technical questions directly on a video call — from setup parameters to maintenance troubleshooting. No middleman, no misunderstandings. This is our core differentiator.
Q: Why is your price higher than some other suppliers? A: We build with proven components: HIWIN linear guides, SMC solenoid valves, AIRTAC cylinders, INOVANCE servo motors, and LEUZE sensors — not generic parts. We machine core components in-house to ±0.01mm. Every machine undergoes a 48-hour burn-in test before shipping. Based on our experience serving clients in over 120 countries, these investments directly translate to lower downtime, consistent quality, and higher resale value.
Q: Can I see the machine printing my product before I pay? A: Yes — this is our zero-risk promise. You send us your blank samples. We custom-machine a fixture and run a print test. Then we go live on video with our English-speaking engineer, who demonstrates the entire process and answers your technical questions on the spot. You see the final result in real time.
Q: Can I inspect my machine before it ships? A: Yes. Before shipping, we conduct a pre-shipment video inspection with you. Our engineer walks you through the machine, verifies every component against your order, shows the test prints, and reviews the 48-hour test report — all while you watch live. You approve it before it leaves our floor.
Q: What warranty and technical support do you offer? A: 1-year warranty with free spare parts replacement for manufacturing defects. Lifetime technical support — our engineers are available via video call for troubleshooting, maintenance guidance, and PLC backup. We ship spare parts worldwide express. MOQ is 1 machine.
